Suzie is our resident Training Assessor in Functional Skills and Salon Manager, she has 17 years of salon experience and holds a Colour Masters Award and has worked on photo shoots published in hairdressing magazines worldwide.
Our Salon Manager spends most of her time working in the salon being creative and making clients feel great about themselves – along with educating them on products and styling techniques. Suzie also works as an educator for school students and Apprenticeships in Hairdressing and Barbering, providing the next generation of Hairdressers and Barbers with the required knowledge they need for their career in the hair industry.
Suzie has had lots of training from many professional companies including; Wella, Goldwell, Clynol, Matrix and Cloud Nine.
What one song will you always know every word to?
Spice Girls – ‘Stop Right Now’.
What is your go-to karaoke song?
All Saints ‘Never Ever’ or ‘A Whole New World’ from Aladdin.
What’s your guilty pleasure?
A Creme Egg.
If you could hop on a plane within an hour, where would you go?
New Zealand in first-class, obviously.
What actor/actress would you want to play you if they ever made a movie about your life?
Kate Hudson, so they will likely cast Mathew McConaughey as the love interest!
What five things would you take with you during the zombie apocalypse and why?
- Mascara – to add life to my lashes
- My husband and son – can’t imagine my life without them
- Colouring, sketching book and pens and pencils – need to stay creative.
If your life was a movie, what three songs would be on the soundtrack?
Too many to choose from as my movie would be a musical.
If you could have dinner with anyone from history, who would it be?
If you could marry a fictional character, who would it be?
Johnny Castle, because I loves a dance!

Spring because of it’s fresh, there are lots of bright colours and new life.
